PIKO 54643 - Self-unloading wagon Fc087 DB AG V
Printed variant of the Fc087 self-unloading wagon in the DB AG version in era V. The construction of 3,551 self-unloading wagons with two-axle chassis began in the Kaiserslautern Federal Railway repair shop in 1959. These wagons, which had funnel-shaped bodies and outlet chutes placed in the middle, were intended to transport bulk goods that were insensitive to moisture, such as coal or gravel. When it became clear that the number of units built would not be sufficient, the Federal Railway ordered a further 2,950 vehicles from various wagon construction factories, which were classified as Otmm 64, but structurally did not differ much from the Otmm 61.
