The MAN 11.192 was delivered in the early 1980s with various fire brigade bodies from Bachert, Ziegler and Metz. The fire fighting vehicles 16, or LF 16 for short, were primarily aimed at fighting fires. The load included, among other things, a four-part extension ladder, a three-part extension ladder and a folding ladder. There was also an additional load for smaller technical assistance. The MAN 11.192 had all-wheel drive with 192 hp and a payload of 11.5 tons. The MAN is powered by a 5-cylinder engine with a displacement of 9.4 liters and a consumption of around 30 liters. The vehicles were used by both professional and voluntary fire departments.
