EC passenger car, 1st class Apm with SBB bicycle compartment for era VI in white/red/black
From 1989 to 1995, in addition to the EW IV wagons currently in use, the SBB put another series of large-capacity wagons into service for EuroCity traffic. These were based on the Bpm RIC and the EW IV delivered in 1980. The color scheme in two shades of gray with a light stripe in between was previously used for the TEE trains (RABe) that were converted into two-class EuroCity trains. The light stripe of the Eurofima paint scheme was retained. The 60 seats in first class and 78 in second class are arranged face-to-face throughout.
