The ET 403 series railcars were built in a time when the IC trains still ran purely first class. Shortly after commissioning, the railway decided to use the economically more sensible two-class IC system. The three railcar trains were moved to special services, where they were used in different configurations with up to 6 parts. From the very beginning, the trains designed by the DB Design Center in Munich aroused a great deal of fascination due to their striking shape, which has not diminished to this day. LS Models offers the train in the well-known high level of detail. The basic sets consist of 4 parts, as is the case. With the individually available middle cars, the trains can be extended to 6 cars.
