The electric locomotive series 120 is considered the world's first series-built three-phase locomotive in the high-performance range and is a milestone in the development of electric locomotives Locomotives. The 120 was used by Deutsche Bahn primarily in high-quality InterCity services. Shortly before they were decommissioned in July 2020, some locomotives earned their bread and butter in regional traffic. There is currently still one machine in use at WRS in freight transport.
