Jägerndorfer JC63100 - N electric locomotive 1073.12
Electric locomotive 1073.12 Ep III/IV
The BBÖ ordered 20 locomotives of the 1029 series for the fast passenger trains on the newly electrified routes in the early 1920s. The electric locomotives, which were equipped with only one driver's cab, had the axle arrangement 1'C1'. In 1938, the German Reichsbahn took over the locomotives and they were classified as E33. Seven locomotives were stationed in Germany at the Bw Basel Badischer Bahnhof and were mainly used on the Wiesentalbahn and Wehratalbahn.
From 1954 onwards, the locomotives were registered with the ÖBB as Rh 1073 numbered and partially modernized. They ran on the suburban trains in Vienna until 1975.
