Model of the ÖBB 1216.018, with light change, switchable taillight on both sides, high beam function and Plux 22 interface.
The model is characterized by enormous pulling power as well as the extremely delicate construction of the elaborate roof structure. The rear light can be activated or deactivated in analogue operation using a switch on the circuit board.
In digital operation, the rear lights and a fade-in function can be switched.
The 1216 series is a further development of the ÖBB series 1016/1116 “Taurus”. The 1216 is a classic multi-system locomotive that was delivered in the following configurations:
1216 001-025 Variant A: Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia
1216 141-150 Variant B: Austria, Germany, Slovenia
1216 226-240 Variant C: Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia
Locomotives from the 1216 series are used for the Railjet trains to the Czech Republic and Italy.
