Hobbytrain H25503 - Set of 2 passenger cars Bpm, 2nd class. (UIC Z1) SBB, Ep.VI
Between 1980 and 1981, the Swiss Wagons and Elevator Factory Schlieren (SWS) manufactured thirty UIC-Z1 large-capacity wagons for the SBB. The car was based heavily on the Eurofima cars, but differed significantly from them in some points - the second-class cars had row seating in a 2+2 arrangement, as well as the large, wide windows that were previously found on the 1st class cars. Great car found. The cars, known as Bpm 20-70, were used by the SBB primarily in international traffic and were given all of the SBB's color schemes, from Eurofima orange to gray/stone gray to today's black/white color scheme. From 1999, the cars were converted for domestic use and received new face-to-face seating. In 2016, 25 of these cars were sold to the Czech railway company Regiojet.
