Hobbytrain H23943 - Bt BLS shuttle train control car, Ep.IV, cream/blue, interior lighting.

Based on the EW1 standard wagons with bellows and an ABDe4/8 driver's cab, six Bt control cars were delivered to the BLS by the Swiss Waggon Factory Schlieren (SWS) in 1963.
In 1970, three more of these control cars were modernized on the basis of the EW1 with rubber bead and extended car body delivered to the BLS.
The control cars were used, among other things, in shuttle trains.
From 2005, four converted control cars with the new numbers BDt 946-949 were in use with car trains and the Bt 951- 953 ran modernized with outer swing doors in the shuttle trains.
