The TWA 800A (Laadks) opens up new possibilities for transporting large-volume machines and vehicles with a floor height of just 800 mm. The model TWA800A flat wagons are used in a variety of ways; they are often found for transporting military vehicles such as trucks, wheeled tanks and pioneer equipment. The transport of combine harvesters or other agricultural vehicles is always exciting, for example at Claas in Harsewinkel. The range of loads and uses is diverse - Setra transported bus bodies between the plants on these wagons. Even the last Brazilian VW T2s were transported on this family of cars.
In 2014, the last Volkswagen T2s rolled off the assembly line in Brazil, and the vehicles from the Last Edition were exported all over the world, including Germany. Loaded on a TWA 800 flat car, five of these vehicles with the distinctive plastic radiator grille were transported from an RSE MAN rail bus to Bonn Beuel in June 2014.
