From mid-2002, SBB Cargo put a series of Taggnpps 31 grain silo wagons into operation. Originally the wagons were intended exclusively for transporting sugar and were provided with corresponding advertising on the sides. The raw material for one of the most important Swiss products is mainly delivered by rail, which is why the wagons are now increasingly used to transport cocoa from Amsterdam to Switzerland. The eye-catching stainless steel wagons usually run as block trains and then offer an impressive appearance.
