Hobbytrain H32103 - Diesel locomotive Vossloh DE18 Railadventure, Ep.VI
New shape. Since their market launch in 2014, more than 130 DE 18 locomotives have been sold, which today perform reliably in both shunting and line operations. At speeds between 17 and 120 km/h, the DE 18 continuously offers an output of 1,800 kw, making it the most powerful center cab locomotive on the European market. Variants with multi-country equipment run across borders, whereby the DE 18 can currently be equipped with four national train control systems and ETCS in various expansion stages. The locomotives can be found both at German railway companies such as Rheincargo and Railadventure and industrial railways such as BASF as well as at foreign operators such as CFL, Europorte and SNCF.
