The heavy Vossloh G1000 shunting and mainline diesel locomotive is in use on numerous state and private railways. The G1000 BB can be used for heavy shunting and light route service and is approved throughout Europe. At SBB Cargo they have the class designation Am 842. At the ÖBB, the Kiel locomotives ran with the designation Rh 2070. Detailed reproduction of the design differences between the German, Swiss and Austrian versions.
