912 “Emsland” with the train route from Frankfurt/Main Hbf to Norddeich, timetable year 1979
D 912 “Emsland” is the successor to the City D-Train DC 912, which was discontinued in 1978. At the same time, the train route from Emden to Norddeich was extended. The Emsland express train was made up of four 2nd class cars (Büm232 and Büm234) and one first-class Am202 car. At the end of the seventies, these were colorfully mixed and carried everything from green to ocean blue/beige to pop colors that the German Federal Railway's color palette offered.
