The original “Bavarian Zugspitzbahn” AEG Tal-Lok and 2 cars . The Bavarian Zugspitzbahn of the Bavarian Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG is, along with the Wendelsteinbahn, one of the oldest mountain railways in Germany. The route leads from Garmisch Partenkirchen directly to the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany. The route begins with the valley railway between Garmisch Partenkirchen and Grainau, from there the steep route to the Zugspitze turns into a cog railway. The Tallok 1 and 4 as well as the 4-axle passenger cars are currently still in use.
