Model details
Curved switch on the left for manual operation, with current-conducting frog.Curve angle 45°. Can be retrofitted with an electric drive.
Transition from radius R1 to radius R2 and vice versa.
The current-conducting frog.
For various switches, the current-conducting frog optimizes the supply of driving voltage in the frog area of the switch. Switches with a current-conducting frog must always be set in the direction of travel from which the train (locomotive) is coming, otherwise a short circuit will occur. The required switching of the polarity of the frog takes place automatically when the switch is changed.
