Electric express locomotive series E 19 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRG 1937–1949).Version with front aprons and imperial eagle
In order to identify the E 19 series as an express locomotive, the locomotives were initially delivered in wine red paint. Due to World War II, the planned express service between Berlin and Munich was not started. The machines were instead used in "normal" express train service.
