With the CabControl we combine the ease of use of our popular MobileControl II handheld controller with the base station Integrated Control Unit (ICU), which, in addition to a powerful booster, has a high-quality DCC center with Railcom® and RailComPlus® as well as a complete WLAN -Access point included.
With its 7A output power, the CabControl is an ideal control center for model railway enthusiasts of all gauges who are looking for simple manual operation via radio, but do not want to forego the convenience of automatic locomotive recognition and convenient operation of the locomotives .

Control locomotives

The Integrated Control Unit (ICU) is a fully-fledged DCC digital control center with RailCom® and RailComPlus® data format that can control up to 16,384 locomotives . Each locomotive can be assigned up to 31 functions. Of course, individual function key symbols as well as the locomotive name are managed for each locomotive. A locomotive symbol can be selected directly on the hand controller. If your locomotive is equipped with a RailComPlus® compatible decoder, the locomotive will be automatically recognized the first time it is put on the track and all properties will be adopted. You no longer need to change anything in the configuration. If necessary, the address of the locomotive is reprogrammed fully automatically.
The Mobile Control II hand controller, which was specially developed for controlling model railways, offers a sensitively reacting rotary controller and four haptic function keys on the sides, which ensure confusion-free operation without eye contact. The display with 480x800 pixel resolution shows all information in plain text at all times. Up to 32 radio handheld controllers can be managed.

Switching switches/magnetic items

With the help of the signal box, up to 1000 solenoid items (turnouts, signals) can be switched directly on the handheld controller .

Program decoder

The CabControl system can both program locomotives on the main track directly using POM and read them out directly using RailCom®. Of course, a programming track can also be connected to the ICU.

Booster

The integrated booster with 7A output power is powerful enough for track 1 or G-track systems to supply with electricity. The track voltage can be adjusted directly to the track width using the included power supply unit. Cab Control fits all track widths.

Connectivity

In addition to a fully-fledged WLAN access point, the Integrated Control Unit (ICU) also includes a LAN and USB socket integrated. If desired, the system can be integrated directly into your home network and supplemented with an optional computer control. All known software products are supported by the ICU because the protocol is designed to be compatible with ECoS. If PC software is used, ECoSDetector feedback modules for track occupancy reporting can also be connected to the ECoSLink bus and evaluated directly in the software. With the help of the USB socket, the Mobile Control can be charged directly or a USB stick can be connected for data backup or software updates of the ICU.
