If your system grows and you want to connect additional ECoSBoost Boosters and ECoSDetector feedback modules to your ECoS or Central Station, you will soon run out of sockets on the control center. Then it is time to purchase the first ECoSlink terminal.

More flexibility

The ECoSlink terminal is connected to the "Extend" socket on your ECoS or Central Station control center using the bus cable supplied.
It has two sockets for handheld controllers (e.g. mobile station) on the front of the front panel and four sockets on the back for devices that are installed under the system. These primarily include ECoSBoost Boosters and ECoSDetect feedback modules.
The ECoSlink terminal can supply all devices connected to it with power either via the control center or do this itself for a section. This is particularly useful for larger systems with many handheld controllers, boosters and feedback modules. An external transformer should then be connected.

More distance

If more than one ECoSlink terminal is used, the terminals can be easily connected to each other using standard patch cables with RJ45 sockets. These patch cables are available in any length from computer retailers.

More order

Each ECoSlink terminal is normally installed on the front of the system: only the front panel is visible. This reduces the cable clutter under the system.

More flexibility

The ECoSlink terminal can be used for all ECoS and Central Station control centers: the CAN bus is only passively distributed together with the supply and booster control lines and the termination is ensured. The function is transparent to the control center. Since there is no interference with the bus communication, the control center and the connected devices alone decide whether they will work together.
