For many garden railroaders, a smoke generator is indispensable. In addition to the sound of the LokSound XL decoder, a cloud of smoke emitted from the chimney in sync with the puff of steam is particularly exciting for steam locomotives. Diesel locomotives also usually leave a clearly visible plume of exhaust fumes behind them. Although our LokSound XL decoder can handle many different smoke generators available on the market, we would like to particularly recommend our two smoke generators today. Both smoke generators work perfectly with the LokSound XL V4.0 and LokSound 5 XL decoders. An electronic board that sits between the decoder and the mechanics controls both the fan and the smoke generator's heating. Since a temperature sensor has not been forgotten, the amount of smoke is constant regardless of the rail voltage. Burnout when the tank is empty is also prevented. The amount of smoke and the fan speed can be determined by the LokSound XL decoder. Of course, both puffs of steam and typical diesel smoke plumes are possible. The clock for synchronizing the steam puffs can be taken over by an external clock generator or directly by the LokSound XL decoder. If you do not want to use an ESU decoder, it is still possible to use it: The smoke generator also receives commands via a SUSI interface. The smoke outlet can be flexibly extended using a silicone hose. The smoke generator is supplied with a silicone hose set.

The large smoke generator (G gauge) is 57.2 mm long, 29 mm wide and 32.6 mm high and is made of temperature-resistant plastic.
