The ESU PowerPack MiniXS can be connected to all fifth generation ESU decoders (LokSound 5, LokPilot 5, LokPilot 5 Basic) and reliably supplies your locomotive with energy when driving over dirt spots and long switch routes.

With the help of its energy storage (with 6 x 0.22 Farad capacity), both the noise and the light and motor functions are buffered, ensuring that your models last up to 1.5 seconds, depending on power consumption can continue driving without electricity. This extremely flat module is intended for smaller vehicles with moderate power consumption.

The PowerPack MinXS, which is equipped with a microcontroller for the first time, has an integrated charging circuit and is controlled by the decoder. It can therefore remain in the locomotive during programming. The charging current is also limited to prevent excessive strain on your booster if multiple models are in use. The buffer time can be limited using a CV on the decoder side, so that red signals also lead to an exact signal stop. The output voltage is adjusted fully automatically by the microcontroller to the rail voltage in order to avoid flickering of the lighting when buffering is inserted.

The space requirement of the PowerPack MiniXS of approx. 25.5 mm x 4.5 mm x 13.5 mm is essential when installing be taken into account. A 3-pin cable connection is required between the decoder and PowerPack MiniXS.
