Technical details

With our new current-carrying close coupling you can reliably transfer power from one wagon to the other without having to install separate current loopers or even center loopers in each wagon. This way you avoid unnecessary frictional resistance. The coupling is two-pole, so that the power for the interior lighting or taillights of your wagons can be easily transferred. But a loudspeaker can also be installed with our coupling in a ghost car, for example, and fed by the LokSound decoder located in the locomotive. The spring contacts can be loaded with up to 1A. The mechanical (short) coupling takes place via a conventional bracket and ensures a reliable connection between the wagons. The coupling can be inserted into any NEM 362 standard coupling shaft. The two already mounted, super-flexible connecting wires ensure optimal mobility of bogies and coupling kinematics.

The coupling is delivered in a two-piece pack.
