BRAWA 45619 - H0 sleeping berth car A KWSt.E.
Prototype information
In 1883, the Württemberg State Railway received 10 passenger cars from the Esslingen machine factory, which had a strong Prussian look with their skylight roof. Originally they had 6 seats in 1st class and 28 seats in 2nd class as well as a toilet. With the ever-expanding route network in Germany, it became necessary to also offer night trains in the future. For this purpose, so-called sleeping berth cars were prepared, which stood out from the passenger trains from a distance due to their paintwork.
