Role model information

While the “Talent” began its triumph in Germany primarily as a diesel multiple unit, the electric version is predominant in Austria. The ÖBB ordered a total of 140 four-part sets as series 4024. They operate in all areas with high passenger volumes, especially on the S-Bahn networks in Vienna, Graz and Tyrol. With Rosenheim and Lindau you can also reach train stations on German territory. 37 of the 66.87 m long trains were also ordered to Hungary as series 4124 as two-system vehicles for use under 25 kV. MAV-Start also has 10 corresponding trains and travels with them to Vienna.
