Model information

To transport wood waste from waste disposal companies, DB AG redesigned some Eas 070 wagons. In order to create more space for the light loads, the walls were raised. A total of 378 cars, now known as Ealos 053, were created through conversion in 1995 and 1996. A further 198 similar-looking Ealos-x were created from other basic cars.
