Prototype information

Although their loading weight was lower than that of the newer Gm and Glm cars, Bavaria could not do without the older G-cars. Especially when transporting lighter piece goods, e.g. B. the products of the extensive glass industry in the Bavarian Forest, the limited load-bearing capacity played no role. The older cars after 1912 were also given the red-brown paint and were placed in the newly created “Regensburg” category. All wagons with a loading weight of less than 15 t were gathered here.
