BRAWA 47579 - H0 Heavy duty truck Collector-u[4818] DR
Prototype information
The DB AG took over 1,044 of the 6-axle flat wagons with low sides that the DR purchased from 1952 onwards and called them Samm 451. The wagons were a specialty of the Eastern European railways, Such types of wagons did not exist in the West. The wagons, originally intended for the transport of extremely heavy tracked vehicles for troop transport, were at the end of their life cycle mainly used as construction vehicles for transporting ballast, gravel or excavation.
