Role model information

With the aim of better connecting rural and structurally weaker regions to metropolitan areas by rail, the Federal Railway launched an improved offer for its customers in the 1950s. The aim was to enable travelers to reach their destination in the next big city without having to change trains. The express trains were well received by the population.
