Prototype information

Under the name Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn, the Transdev Group operates several different regional and national line services in Saxony. This includes the RegionalExpress line RE 6 Leipzig Hbf – Bad Lausick – Geithain – Chemnitz Hbf. Here, trains are mainly pulled by diesel locomotives.
But various rented electric locomotives can also often be seen in front of the trains.
