BRAWA 70086 - H0 electric locomotive series Ae477 Lokoop Orient Express
Role model information
After the 142 series was no longer needed due to the decline in freight traffic in Germany, 18 “wooden scooters” found a new home in Switzerland. They were purchased by Lokoop, adapted for use in Switzerland by installing an electric brake and designated Ae477. They were used by the Mittelthurgaubahn and Südostbahn primarily in freight traffic and passenger trains. For the traction of the historic Orient Express, Ae477 905, and 906 the former 242 191 and 157, received a matching dark blue paint job.
