Prototype information

E95 02 has had the status of a museum locomotive for 40 years, but work on it since then has been limited to external completion and preservation. That changed a few years ago when a group of enthusiasts came together in Halle with the goal of making it operational. BRAWA also donated the proceeds from the sale of the model to this goal. To mark the anniversary of locomotive construction in Hennigsdorf, E 95 02 was presented for the first time outside the Halle P depot in September 2010.
