Technical details

• New shapes for the body with precise reproduction of all the typical features of the first series cars in the late 80s setting, with modifications to the cabin drip trays, side walls, front FS frieze in different positions depending on the reproduced device, serpentine shape on the roof slope, ladders and handrails in keeping with the era
• Tested and reliable mechanics with articulated frame and metal gear, powerful 5-pole central motor with double cardan shaft transmission on both axles of the head cars, two wheels with grip ring
• New electrical system with 21-pin NEM 660/21MTC socket for DCC and DCC sound decoders, with possibility for 23 mm round speakers or 11x15 mm "sugar cube" speakers
• "S" versions with ESU Loksound V5 sound decoder and speakers installed as standard, with model-specific sounds
• White headlight and red tail light with automatic switching depending on the direction of travel and the possibility of independent switching off between the two cabins, both analogue (via DIP SWITCH on the main board) and digital (via decoder)
• Possibility of installing the central carriage for operation on 3-wire systems, with system switching via jumpers on the circuit board
• NEM 362 hook holder with removable rudder for short hooking at both ends, with the possibility of dismantling the hook holder to set up the fronts with all realistic details
• Accurate reproduction of the pantographs type 52 or 42U FS (depending on the unit reproduced), entirely made of metal with the possibility of current collection; Extremely flat and realistic sleeping position
• U1250 carriage with 4 or 12 sandboxes, depending on the setting period; Replica of the original stone catchers or equipped with signal repetition sensors, depending on the version reproduced
• Numerous details in metal or plastic for maximum realism, including new table supports on the factory-fitted photo-etching benches
