Large and heavy loads require special means of transport or wagons. The Rheinisch Westfälische Elektrowerk A.-G. Two more SSt 125s were also built by MAN in 1940 and belonged to Preußen Elektra Hannover and Elektrowerke A.-G. Berlin. After the war, the latter remained with the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the USSR zone and later came to the DR.



Due to the dimensions of the special cargo, which often exceeded the vehicle boundaries, were allowed The wagons can only be loaded and run as exceptional transports with a maximum permissible speed of 40 km/h. On narrow bridges, you may only have to walk at walking speed and under observation. For this reason, such trips were primarily carried out on the outskirts of the day. Unloaded, the wagons were allowed to be transported at the end of regular freight trains at a speed of 65 km/h. At that time the usual maximum speed of regular freight trains.
