Prototype information

The Württemberg version of these Gm cars was built from 1907. By 1911, a total of 1,813 wagons had been manufactured at various wagon factories. A feature of the Württemberg wagons was the division of the side walls into 8 segments and the steel wagon door. The base frames had an additional fish belly support. These Württemberg cars were only available without a handbrake.
After the First World War, numerous cars of this type came to the DRG, where they were classified in the Hanover district.
