Prototype information

The Vossloh DE 18 is the first locomotive from the former MaK plant in Kiel since production of the DE 1002 was discontinued in 1993.
Since its market launch in 2014, Vossloh has sold more than 130 DE 18 locomotives to customers in various European countries, which now reliably serve both in shunting and mainline operations - including for the DB, the SNCF and recently also the Italian FS.
