Built by Alstom-De Dietrich and Alstom LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch), a partner of the predecessor, the newcomers with an exceptional length of 28.90 m, mounted on two bogies with two 1.30 m wide doors with low entry for the transport of disabled people, are powered by two MAN D 2866 LUH 21 inline six-cylinder diesel engines with a total of 514 kW, arranged horizontally under the driver's cabs. Similar vehicles operate on the German network (VT 641).
