The fine quartz sand is stored in the sand silo at the “E. Blum” sandworks. The sand is conveyed directly from the sorting tower, # 61124, into the silo through a pipeline. The enclosed conveyor belt brings the different types of sand into the sorting tower, # 61124, before they are forwarded to the loading bridge, # 61123. Tools are included with the partially aged kit.
