PIKO 52837 - Diesel locomotive type 260 SNCB III

New for 2022: Variant of the BR 260 in the version of an SNCB type 260 diesel locomotive in Era III. The PIKO model impresses with its successful mold construction without annoying mold separating edges and the harmonious implementation of all relevant details of the model machine. The PIKO model of the shunting locomotive has straight, precisely aligned platforms, a buffer storage for silky-smooth shunting trips without unwanted power interruptions and lighting using LEDs. The cab lighting and the front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy model, equipped with a zinc die-cast frame, has a five-pole motor for excellent driving characteristics and high pulling forces. The model has a PluX22 interface, thanks to which a digital decoder can be retrofitted in just a few steps. Between 1958 and 1962, 69 machines from the Bundesbahn series V60 were manufactured under license in Belgium. The machines corresponded optically and technically to the German version. The PIKO model shows the delivery condition, with large, round lamps in the classic colors of the SNCB from Era III.
