Novelty 2022: Form variant of the BR 200.1 with the special features of Era IV. After the introduction of the DB's new series scheme, the V 200.1 series was redesignated as BR 221. The PIKO sound model has an mfx®-capable PluX22 sound decoder ex works. For the first time, the PIKO model of the BR 221 appears in the condition after the first major revision. In this case, the machines lost some of their decorative strips. In addition, fuel sensors were installed in the frame as part of this maintenance stage. With a rectangular chimney and coil springs on the bogies, a model was created that is in no way inferior to the original.
