New in 2024: Modern diesel locomotives shape everyday life in freight and shunting traffic. And of course the striking DE 18 from Vossloh should not be missing here. With this machine, the PIKO designers have once again succeeded in converting a model into the H0 size with flying colors. The result is a model that excellently reproduces the overall appearance and characteristics of the DE 18, and has a variety of details, including extremely three-dimensional engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with an excellent optical depth effect. The powerful motor with two flywheels ensures smooth running, and the pulling force is increased by two diagonally arranged traction tires. In conjunction with a digital decoder, many prototypical lighting functions can be switched. The attractive driver's cab and driver's desk lighting is part of good form with new PIKO designs. A modern PluX22 interface is available on the tidy circuit board for easy retrofitting of a decoder.
