New in 2022: Variant of the Rh 1044 in the ÖBB version in Era IV. The characterful locomotive face of the former ÖBB parade horse was excellently captured in the model implementation, as was the striking side section of the vehicles, with the pronounced beads and the typical “portholes”. posed challenges to mold making. The resulting impression of ideal visual effect is continued in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the new 1044 is technically impressive: a five-pole PIKO motor, on whose shaft there are two finely balanced flywheels, ensures consistent propulsion. Model railroaders who prefer digital operation benefit from the modern PluX22 interface - it allows the installation of a digital decoder in just a few steps. The lighting change, which is mandatory today, was implemented using contemporary LED technology. For the first time, the machine appears in its original version with locomotive signs, type VI pantographs, round buffers and four sandboxes.
