With the replica of the heavy freight locomotive of the 151 series, PIKO offers a typical locomotive of the German Federal Railways in Era IV. The model has an exact design of the lamps, windows, buffers, housing shape, engine room view, roof equipment, etc. and also impresses with the finest Painting and printing, the extremely delicate pantographs, digitally switchable driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as LED taillights that change with the direction of travel. The powerful five-pole PIKO motor with its large, precisely dimensioned flywheel masses gives the model excellent driving characteristics. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability is installed ex works, and the locomotive is also prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
