Due to the rolling process during production, wound sheet steel rolls (coils) are a moisture-sensitive product. So that these coils can be transported to the processing industry without corrosion damage, the vehicle industry developed a special design flat car in the 1970s with three slidable hoods, the Shis 708, from 1987 Shimmns 708.
